Vevo UK: Artist Management & Video Production

The world’s largest all-premium music video provider, offering artists a global platform with huge scale through its distribution partners. Alongside the 450,000 music videos, Vevo creates hundreds of pieces of original content each year, working directly with artists to find unique ways to bring their music to life. Vevo also works with emerging artists, providing them with a platform of global scale and reach, to find and grow their audience.

In this session, two members of Vevo’s team; Music and Talent Manager Jodeci Rampasard and Vevo EU Director Jim Wilmot, will discuss how Vevo partners with artists at every level, and why video content and artist management is so important for an artists success.

Alongside this - they will talk about what their roles involve at Vevo, and how they got into the industry with a Q+A at the end of the session.

Jim Wilmot

I am the in-house Director within Vevo’s Production team, working across all of Vevo’s Original Content output in the UK and across the EU. I work with everyone from cinematographers, gaffers, set designers and audio engineers - as we prep and film for DSCVR, ROUNDS, or STUDIO PERFORMANCES. I collaborate closely with Producers, Talent, Design and Editorial teams to ensure the end product is optimised for Vevo’s audience, its platforms/channels and also serves music fans new and original content, hoping to ultimately boost that artist’s profile and listenership in the process.

JODECI RAMPASARD

At Vevo, my role is to predominantly manage our label and partner relationships. Working with various labels and distributors to stay updated with their key campaigns. Discovering new talent and onboarding them onto the network. While booking in artists for our live performance offerings.

Workshop will be held online, via ZOOM.
