About Sound Art

In this course you will learn how to approach music and sound making in the broadest possible way to express yourself.

Led by award-winning sound artist Gawain Hewitt, participants will explore creative uses of sound and music. Using only free and online tools, participants will explore how sound is used to communicate ideas through synthesizers, audio manipulation, and sequencing improvisation and compositional techniques. Open to all abilities and music styles, the final pieces will be showcased in an experimental new online exhibition platform that Gawain is developing in response to the Covid-19 emergency.
