Young People (Under 30s)
Programmes on offer for Young People (under 30) include:
Weekly sessions teaching guitar, bass, keyboard and drums. Each session focuses on a different genre of music, teaching to play in that style. Sessions aim to provide skills, positive agency, support, and space for creative self-expression.
Play musical instruments alongside musicians at all levels as part of the Raw Sounds Collective. Creative original music using Logic Pro with Apple Mac systems and record vocals in a professional music studio. Develop song writing skills, structure and compose lyrics to create songs and finished to a high standard. Learn to DJ and record mixes using CDJs and Serato Scratch Live. Develop your performance skills with the opportunity to perform live at local venues.
Fridays (by appointment)
Participants, who are interested in developing their music progress onto our artist development course. Working 1:1 in the studio with a producer, they write, perform and record four tracks as a professional portfolio of work.
